Position Summary

The Senior Liability Claims Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve liability claims involving bodily injury, property damage, general liability, premises liability, commercial liability, transportation losses, and related exposures.

The ideal candidate possesses strong investigative skills, excellent judgment, extensive carrier or TPA experience, and the ability to represent clients professionally in the field.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage liability claims from first notice through resolution.
• Conduct recorded statements and witness interviews.
• Perform scene inspections and liability investigations.
• Analyze coverage, liability, causation, and damages.
• Review police reports, medical records, expert reports, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with work assigned on an as-needed basis. Inspection volume will vary based on project requirements and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lead-based paint risk assessments in accordance with EPA and HUD guidelines.

·        Manage non-complex, non-medical cases involving financial, administrative, personal, transitional, and reintegration support needs.

Key responsibilities

·        Answer incoming calls and conduct scheduled outbound outreach to WIIs and family members.

·        Conduct structured interviews and needs assessments to identify appropriate resources, benefits, referrals, and escalation needs.

·        Monitor and respond to assigned communication channels, including phone, email, text, and social media support workflows as assigned.

·        Document all contacts, attempts, actions, referrals, and follow-up needs in MCWIITS or other Government-authorized systems.

·        Make at least three contact attempts at different times of day when required by outreach protocols.

·        Escalate sensitive, complex, or urgent matters to NMCMs, FSRs, supervisors, or mandatory reporting authorities as directed.

Minimum qualifications

·        At least one year of call center, customer service, intake, administrative support, veteran support, or similar experience.
